TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Health Screening
All clients must also complete a PAR-Q, Informed Consent and Lifestyle Questionnaire before commencing any exercise programme. Your trainer may require a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP. Please be aware that your GP may charge for providing this letter. Your trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions. All clients must also provide notification of any changes to the information given.
2. Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation is required from the client for all appointments. Notice of less that 48 hours will incur a fee for loss of the session/booking. The trainer/exercise professional will also ensure cancellations are made at least 24 hours prior (normally due to their own illness or injury, or emergency appointments. In this instance your appointment will be made for the next available time that suits both parties)
3. Serious illness or injury
In the event of serious illness or injury you will be able to return to your programme when you are certified as fit and ready and appropriate as deemed by your GP/doctor/nurse. This information must be provided to the trainer/exercise professional as and when requested. In the unlikely event you are not able to return to normal activities your case will be considered fairly, and refunded any costs you have incurred for advance bookings.
4. Lateness Policy
If the client is late for a session the session cannot be extended and will end at the appointed time. If the client arrives more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled appointment, the trainer may refuse to conduct the session. If the instructor decides to continue the session - they will be acting purely on good will and this will not constitute to normal conduct in part or whole.
5. Fee Charging Policy
Payment for any sessions can be made on the day of the booking.
Block bookings must be paid for in full in advance BUT sessions do not have to be booked in advance
All monies paid are non-refundable - Money for all sessions should be paid by cash/cheque before the session.
For bank transfers the trainer will provide you with relevant bank/account details.
You can contact your trainer with general questions relating to your goals as often as needed. This can be done via the text, telephone or e-mail address provided - Your trainer/exercise professional will respond as soon as possible. The only request we make for politeness no late phone-calls after 10.00pm. Any contact made after 10.00pm or on the trainers scheduled day off, will not be received or responded to until the following day.
You accept that participating in exercise has a risk of causing injury, both minor and potentially major
The trainer may amend these terms and conditions from time to time without notice.
All sessions, packages and purchases made from the date that the amended terms are dated, will be governed by those new terms. The trainer will inform you if any new terms affect any current bookings you may have.
The terms and conditions set out above shall apply when you make a booking with us.
They shall supersede any and all other conditions, understandings, commitments, agreements or representations (except fraudulent misrepresentations) whether oral or in writing.
It is advisable that you print off and keep safe a copy of these terms and conditions.
You are advised to read (and are responsible for reading) and understanding all information fully.
Any gestures of goodwill by the trainer are purely that, and will not form any part of any legal agreement /contract.
